Bio

I am a college professor at Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado. I teach political science as well as courses on complexity science and agent-based modeling. I love fiddling with computers - and developing models in NetLogo.

I am a martial artist in the art of Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do, where I particularly enjoy Muay Thai Kick Boxing and Wing Chun Gung Fu. I also am an avid runner - coming back to the sport after a 15 year lapse.

I am married to Julie and have a almost-seven year-old son Nicholas. Nicholas is a bright youngster and is also a martial artist. We are two years away from our black belts.
